Skip Bin Hire Melbourne - Father's Day Promo | Need A Skip Now
Dear Melbournians
As we are all counting down to the end of Stage 4 restrictions in Melbourne, some of us are very busy in a middle of DIY projects in our houses and gardens. With father's day only a week away, we've decided to add some sunshine to our lockdown and introduce a Father's Day Skip Bins Promo to you.
Save $45 on Any Skip Bin Booked by 6th September with Promo Code DAD45
To take advantage of the above promotion, all you need to do is jump onto our booking page, select the bin you like and use Promo Code DAD45 on a checkout.
We figured that as so many Melbournians are affected by the lockdown that any saving on waste disposal will be very handy. Whether its for your dad, your partner or for yourself, working on your home based projects has proven to have positive impacts not only on your quality of life but gives you purpose and drive to wake up in the morning if you've been forced to stay at home for weeks on end.
Bin prices will differ depending on a suburb, waste type and skip bin size, however we'll provide a couple of examples of savings, taking Clayton South post code as an example:
6m3 Mixed Heavy Waste Skip Bin for Clayton South - usual price $547, after Promo Code - $502 (no extra charges for heavy bins or long bin hire)
2m3 mini skip for General Waste - usual price $277, after Promo Code - $232
4m3 walk in skip bin for 100% Soil - usual price $347, after Promo Code - $302
We offer all Skip Bin Sizes, from 2m3 mini skip, all the way up to 31m3 walk in bulk bins, hence no matter how small or big your project is - we will cater with an appropriate bin size.
How Long Can I Keep the Skip Bin
Our usual Skip Hire is up to 7 days, however during current lockdown in Melbourne we provide a free bin hire extension for customers, who require it. Should the bin be placed on your property - extension of hire shouldn't be a problem. However if your bin is being placed on a nature strip or on a road - i.e. council property, then the length of hire will be impacted by the duration of a council permit. For example - some councils offer weekly permits, like City of Bayside, City of Kingston and City of Glen Eira, hence should you require an extension of hire beyond your initial week then we'll need to apply for an additional permit.
For a complete explanation of how Council Permits work in relation to skip bin, please read our previous blog post or give us a call on 1300 605 624 for a quick quote for your specific council, should you require to place a bin on a road.
Can Skip Bins be Delivered During Lockdown in Melbourne
The Great News are - that Skip Bin Hire is an essential service, under the waste management and recycling and hence it has continued operating throughout Melbourne. Whether you are moving home, renovating or having some emergency works done at your home, you can safely order a skip bin and fill it up at your leasure.
We have ensured that our Skip Hire process is completely contactless, from an online or telephone quote, to online or phone booking, to contactless bin delivery and pickup, contactless payment over the phone or EFT and of cause an electronic invoice delivered instantly to your inbox.
You would have noticed that during Stage 4 Restrictions - landfills and tips are closed to the residents and are only open to commercial contractors, such as Skip Hire Companies, hence if you usually prefer to take your trailer to the tip yourself, during COVID - a skip bin will be a viable alternative. Not only you save time on travelling to and froorm the tip and waiting in a queue there, you will also avoid breething in dust and other highly unpleasant odours, hence filling a bin on a fresh air is faster and we take care of all the recycling and tipping of your waste.
How High Can I fill the Skip Bin
Skip bins can only be filled up to a rim and not above. There are various reasons for this, first being safety of transportation. Even though our drivers will cover the skip with a tarp upon pickup, some loose items can move and can fall out of the bin during transportation, which can be fatal to other drivers on the road. Trucks are also monitored closely by police and can be stopped should the bin appear overfilled.
As skip bins become more economical per cubic meter the higher you go in bin size, if you are unsure of the bin size, we recommend to order a bigger size, as 8 cubic meter bin is cheaper than ordering separately 2m3 bin plus 6m3 skip bin.
Our phone lines are open from 7am on 1300 605 624 and our friendly team will be more than happy to answer any questions and assist you with choosing not only the correct skip bin size but also the right waste type and answer any questions about Council Permits should you require them.
Don't forget to redeem your Father's Day Promo Code by 6th September, which can be applied towards any bin size to any suburb of Melbourne. The promo code can be redeem either online or over the phone on 1300 605 624.
